I’m back on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with a redo of a previous card I’ve made and loved.
It all came about because I wanted to pack light for a crafty day with friends over the weekend, and as I was only planning to take my Sidekick machine with me, I prepped what I’d need for a good die-cutting session with several Concord & 9th die sets… including Paper Bouquet.

I precut something like 10 stacks of stems ready to turn them into full bouquets and while I was choosing my colours, I thought why not do a blue take on a previous card design.
Yes, I am still loving the new Bluebell shade from Concord & 9th, and it goes beautifully against a lighter blue shade of cardstock in my stash.
Here are the cardstock shades I used from Concord & 9th for the bouquets:
- Stems: Artichoke, Avocado, Grasshopper
- Flowers: Bluebell, Honeycomb, Sunflower, White
- Twine and bow: Peanut
I positioned all the bouquets on a piece of 6.5 x 4.5 cardstock and started gluing them all down, making sure any pieces at the edges were glued down on each layer so that they’d stay in place when I trimmed round the card base.
The trimmed bits were then easier to add into the empty gaps to fill out this maximalist background.
Then it was just a matter of adding a slim sentiment that wouldn’t cover up all that die-cutting work. So I cut The Greetery’s Ribbon Maker Petite Scallops die from C9 Grapefruit card to wrap around the panel before mounting it on a Kraft card blank. I also luckily had a stamped Tear Strip Tags Birthday sentiment cut with the coordinating Tear Strip Banners die ready to use, so that was perfect.
This ended up being a great project to work on while chatting and catching up with crafty friends. Assembly line crafting is something I struggle with at my own craft desk, but it’s made all that much easier when you break up the process (sometimes for a cheeky bit of cake).
This colour palette feels nice and rustic with those hand-tied wildflower vibes.
Now I just need to use the remaining stems to make a few more bouquets!
