Inspired by the new City Holiday additions from Yana and Spellbinders, I thought it would be fun for this week’s Festive Friday make to give the original City Holiday die set a sprinkling of snow for it’s first 2026 outing.

With quite the die cutting session ahead, I got to work accompanied by a few podcast episodes.
It may be hard to make out the exact colours, but here’s a list of what I used for the various elements:
- Building and roof: C9 Bluebell and Midnight
- Windows: Spellbinders Celestial (frame), C9 Blueberry (ledge), Spellbinders Seaside (glass pane), and The Stamp Market Fresh Pink (shades/curtains)
- Door frame: C9 Sweet Pea (door), C9 Blueberry (frame), Spellbinders Anchor (steps)
- Wreaths: C9 Basil and Poppy
- Gifts: The Stamp Market Rosy, C9 Honeysuckle and Poppy
- Tree: The Stamp Market Aspen and C9 Matte Gold
Before sticking anything down, I first cut an A2 card to 3.5 x 5.5 inches to add the trimmed down snow drift at the bottom and then the main building panel over the top complete with the roof.
Then I stuck down all the windows, the door frame, and steps.
This is the point where I went in with the water sprayer to add a dusting of snow flock and some Distress glitter.
Once everything was dry, I added the wreaths and other accents, complete with a splattering of white snowy paint. I also added a black cat to the steps, which promptly got some flock stuck to it – all the better for the final look!
Finally, I reached again for another fabulous sentiment from the Waffle Flower Family Christmas set. And there we go, card complete.
