Happy Festive Friday!
Today’s card was made with a die set that I managed to pick up in the recent Warehouse Sale over at Spellbinders.
It was just too good to pass up, and this card demonstrates why I wanted it in the first place.

The sale featured a lot of past club kit sets deeply discounted, and one of them was the Lock & Key Mailbox (reduced from £40 to just £5) – perfect for a festive North Pole postbox.
I created the mailbox from Pomegranate and Poppy cardstock, with Matte Gold card really popping on the details. So festive!
Then I grabbed a host of accents to pop in the mailbox to accompany the little envelope and letter, which was stamped with Mama Elephant Mini Merry Messages and SugarPea Designs You’re My Type.
Here are the sets and accents I used:
- Christmas Wonder: candy cane and bow, holly, and peppermint swirl
- Christmas Cocktails: pine branch and candy swirl
- Gifting Bow: pine branch, leaves, and berry branch
Once everything was assembled, I just needed to pop the card mailbox on a suitable background, so I used the Air Mail stencils (also in the sale) to add a pink and red border around the Chiffon card base.
I’m really happy with how this turned out, and I’m sure this would also work great as a smaller dimensional card that isn’t mounted on an A2 base.
