Well, I simply couldn’t help myself! Another card featuring the wonderful Canned die set from The Greetery, this time as a festive “trinket box” to set the scene for the Yuletide Ride car loaded with festive accoutrements.

And let’s just say, this isn’t the last of the green can colour scheme…

It all started with a C9 Parsley base for the can and C9 Basil for the rim of the can.

Inside I cut the pink frame from TSM Candy Kiss, decorated with gold ornaments from the Canned set, and stamped berries from an old Lawn Fawn stamp set. I also used this stamp set to add the little snowflake details next to the Something Fishy waves down the side of the can.

Once the can was assembled complete with snowy patterned paper and glitter card for the snowy ground, I started assembling the Yuletide Ride car and all the items on the roof rack. My cardstock scraps came in very useful here!

Although it’s not obvious, I added Glossy Accents to the tree in the very background to make the baubles pop.

Once that was all done, I stamped a sentiment from Hello Bluebird’s Typed Christmas set on the Something Fishy banner stamped in Dijon ink for a touch of gold.

I made a big boo-boo when trying to stamp some dotted details from the Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls set down the side of the can, and ended up making it look like an intentional pattern by dotting the rest of the frame by hand with a green pen. Phew!

And there we go, card made!
