Happy Festive Friday!
This week’s card may look familiar, but when it comes to Christmas crafting, you can be forgiven for remaking a past design, especially when some of the supplies are already cut and ready to use!
There’s definitely no reinventing the wheel here…

I already had a set of C9 Pop-Out Stacks Base dies cut from C9 Pink Lemonade and white card, splattered with white paint, tucked into my Home for the Holidays Stacks storage pocket. It was a much-needed time saver to get started on my card late in the evening.
So out came my Sidekick and the following shades of C9 cardstock to cut the rest of the elements:
- Surfside
- Sea Glass
- Cobblestone
- Basil
- Poppy
- Espresso
- Black and white
Plus some vellum behind the windows and white glitter card for the snowy accents.
When the houses were assembled, I went over them with a white paint pen for more snowy details.
Before sticking everything in place, I freehand cut the white pop-out strips to make them look more slope-like. I also stamped the sentiment from the coordinating stamp set on the front strip before sticking it in place.
Finally, when all the elements were in place, I went in with Star Dust Stickles for some more sparkle and left everything to dry overnight! The best approach whenever Stickles are involved! ha
Now that I’ve added all the photos in this post, I’m a bit disappointed with how they came out – but what can you do on a sunny day when the only north-facing spot out of direct sunlight is your mantelpiece that’s far away from the window…
Here’s hoping card photos and card ideas will be restored to a better level next week.
Until next time, happy crafting!
