Happy Festive Friday!

Well, I’m glad to report that my (not so) tiny pink house era isn’t over quite yet!

After the fun of making the pink Our House Christmas card a few weeks ago, I simply had to use a similar colour palette with the lovely Yuletide Lane set from Concord & 9th.

One of these days I truly hope to make a concertina card with this die set. But alas, it’s just a shaped single house from me again!

I started by cutting the base die from Fresh Pink cardstock and the darker pink accents for the roof, door and windows from Rosy cardstock.

I added all the stamped details on the house and door in Party Pink ink.

The windows were cut from Dijon for the frames and Spellbinders Seaside for the panes.

My Memory Box glitter pad came in handy with some lovely white glitter card for the roof, windows, doorstep, and ground.

I added festoon lighting in Minty card on an Ivory string and then grabbed the Winter Medley and Market Place Holiday Festoons die sets from The Greetery to create the wreath and bough accents.

The wreaths were cut from Aspen card, with smaller bows in Raspberry card. The larger wreath is layered up several times, and the bows for that and elsewhere were cut from C9 Sweetpea card.

It obviously really pays to have a whole spectrum of similar pink shades in my cardstock stash, eh?

The Winter Medley boughs were cut from C9 Evergreen and decorated with the two bow styles layered up.

Once all those elements were assembled on the card, I went over them with clear glue and added a dusting of Clear Rock Candy glitter.

Then, I went in with the white paint splatters. I always love this bit as it really transforms the card into a full-on winter scene.

And finally, I added the Merry banner in white and C9 Pink Lemonade just under the eaves. So it pops out with a bit of dimension and also remains snow-free.

I’m really pleased with how this little house came out. I just really love the colour combination and don’t want to give it up just yet!
