As the first Friday of the month, it’s time for a new inspiration challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog.

I was inspired in particular by the photo of the picnic and raspberry lemonade:

I went with gingham, lemons, a jar, and blooms as my inspiration, plus the blush pink tones of the watermelon.
The yellows look a bit in your face I know, can never get that colour to photograph nicely and accurately. But I just love the citrus vine set from The Stamp Market, the little details for adding ink layering really add dimension, and I am tempted to do brighter colours next time for the lemons. 🙂
Now that we have a UK retailer for The Stamp Market I also managed to get some of their coordinating cardstock which I’ve used for the leaves and blossoms.
