It’s always difficult to create cards for sad occasions, especially sympathy cards.
They are the kind of cards I never make in advance, and want to personalize for the recipient in some way.
Sadly, I recently had occasion to create a sympathy card and this is what I made:

I reached for one of my favourite floral stamp sets that I knew would work well in neutral purple and grey tones. It’s the Flourish set by Concord & 9th and is now discontinued, but it’s been a go-to stamp set for me since it was released.
I stamped the branch and leaves using a mix of grey inks and then used the four shades of purple from Altenew’s Sugarplum colour family for all the floral elements.
I die-cut the panel with the postage frame from The Stamp Market and then added my sentiment in the Misti before mounting on smaller cardstock panels to provide a little dimension so it stands off the card base.
