For today’s card, we have something that will definitely mail flat and not need a postage upgrade. 😉
The stamped images are from an “autumn” set but work great for winter/Christmas too!

I got slightly ahead on this project back in the autumn when making a card for the Daring Cardmakers challenge at that time. While I had the Happy Fall stamps and dies out for that project, I stamped and coloured a bunch more so that I could use them for multiples of this Christmas card design.
Again, I went back to my stash of 6×6 papers – this time the Snow & Cocoa collection from Crate Paper, and luckily I had multiples of the 12×12 sheet called Rosy Cheeks to assemble the card bases I needed.*
For the snowy scene, I used my much-loved Starry Scene stamp and die from Avery Elle with lovely Sea Glass ink from Altenew (such a fab colour!) to provide that wintry sky background.
I then used a grounding element from MFT with white glitter paper to separate the two paper backgrounds and “ground” the scene.
Finally, when everything was assembled on the cards, I used my Misti to add the sentiment from Fauna & Fauna.
And there we have it, flat cards to mail for a change!

* After cutting the papers for my card blanks, I actually had enough for one extra card – but no pre-coloured girl and mouse for it, so I added a happy snowman sticker from Pebbles to that scene to use up the card base and not have it sat in the box for another year.
