It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the end of March, the month has flown by for me!
This week, Shabneez has set the challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog and wants us to create a card featuring a number or lots of numbers.
Well, as you know it’s the year of 50th birthdays for my circle of friends, so here is the next card I made on my list:

I already had a few ideas in mind for this card, and thought it would be a good opportunity to combine a slimline design with some bright florals.
I started out by cutting the slimline panel using the Crimped Slimline die from The Greetery and then taped it down to my work surface so I could stencil the Always in Bloom background florals on both ends of the panel, leaving a gap in the middle where I would later add the sentiment focal point.
I added the stamped details to the florals and set the panel aside while I worked out what elements I’d use for the sentiment.
Well, of course, it had to be the Bold Numbers from The Greetery cut in gold cardstock again! I am really getting my money’s worth out of this number set at the moment. 🙂
I also stamped some of the Always in Bloom die-cut details in pastel shades to add extra floral details.
Then I had the light bulb moment, I could pop the numbers up on the Cake Pops Banner die from The Greetery and have everything springing out of the Everyday Labels birthday sentiment.
I used bright pink cardstock for my card base and added pearlescent sequins once everything was assembled.
