The Easter weekend is just a few days away, and today I’m sharing the cards I made for my niece and nephew, which also mark my first projects as a member of the Seven Hills Crafts (SHC) design team.
I have been a long-time customer of this fabulous store in the UK, you’ll have seen me link to SHC in my supplies lists many a time in the past. SHC is also where I am thankfully able to get my Greetery fix. 😀 So, you can expect many a project featuring Greetery items on a Wednesday when it is my turn to post on the blog. 🙂
So without further ado, here are the Easter cards I made using a firm favourite from The Greetery at this time of the year – the Bunny Hop stamp, stencil, and die sets:

I started out by creating some watercolour backgrounds with diluted Saltwater Taffy and Speckled Egg Distress inks, adding a good splatter of ink speckles for good measure.
Once they were dry, I cut panels from the backgrounds with the largest rectangle die in The Greetery Crimped Frame set.
While my blending brushes were out, I also blended pink and blue ink around the edges of my card blanks and then got to work on the bunny stencils.
The ink colours I’ve used are all listed below. I chose bright pastel shades for both bunny wreaths and after adding the stamped details I went in with coloured pencils, a black pen for the eyes and noses, and a white pen to add the fluffy bunny tails.
I then die-cut the wreaths with the coordinating die set and cut a large enough circle of white cardstock to fit inside the aperture where I stamped the Hippity-Hoppity Happy Easter sentiment before finally assembling my cards.
I hope my niece and nephew enjoy their Easter Egg hunt! I suspect they will be happier with chocolate than carrots!
