Morning all!
Sometimes you just want to have a little experiment with colour palettes and colour combos.
Well, last weekend I remembered a lovely Basic Grey collection called Spice Market and found a colour combination that inspired me.
I may yet buy the digital paper kit one day, but in the meantime some cream cardstock, folksy stencils, and inks will do the trick:

Die: The Greetery – Tear Strip Banners
The stencils I used are the Fall Folk stencils from The Greetery’s autumn release last year. I think they could work any time of the year just by changing up the colour scheme.
I didn’t want to hide the background, so I reached for one of the Tear Strip Tags Birthday sentiments I’d previously stamped and die cut with the Tear Strip Banners die set.
Then to finish it off, I added a couple of red enamel dots.
And there we have it, a bright birthday card that could work for anyone. 🙂
