I’m back on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with a sparkly birthday card!
I pulled out a few sets from The Greetery to create this card, namely:
- The All Aglow layering stencils
- The Make a Wish stamp set
- The coordinating Make a Wish sentiment die

I love the All Aglow stencils for allowing you to get down the layout of the candle background easily and to go in with detail blending brushes to vary the colours. They take a lot of the guess work out.
And, of course, I had to go with a rainbow of bright colours for this card.
As I was already planning to use the Make a Wish stamp set, I used that to add the dot and stripe patterns to some of the candles, so skipped those stencil steps.
I still used the stencils to add the candle flame glow in a soft yellow ink tone, and added the sparkler details from the stamp set with some sequins for extra bling.
Finally, I finished off the card with the Make a Wish sentiment stamped on the coordinating Make a Wish shadow outline die.
I also raided the scraps dish on my desk to add the glittery fringe border to the bottom of the card.
