I’m back with another Festive Friday project, this time using some more recent supplies from Pretty Pink Posh.

The Fringe Tree went right on my wish list last winter, when I saw it.
A perfect way to make a fun and impactful card with a bit of texture.
And the perfect way to combine different cardstock colours.
I went with Dijon, Blush, Cheeky, Fern, and Aspen from The Stamp Market and added a splattering of white ink to the tree before adding the star and trunk.
I also wanted a festive wintry background, so inked up an A2 panel of Neenah with Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Oxides. Then went over it with Pretty Pink Posh Layered Snowflakes stencils using Seaglass dye ink followed by some spritzes of water.
It’s a subtle effect, but you can see the snowflakes more clearly when tilting the card to the light.
I then added a splatter of white and pearlescent white paint to the background after cutting it out with the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die.
For a bit more pink, I inked around my white cardbase with Blush ink, then went over it with the Airmail Border stencils from The Greetery using Blush and Cheeky ink.
Next I assembled all the elements and added the sentiment from the Winter Greetings set, finishing the card off with some clear sequins on the tree and some crystal sequins from The Greetery on the background.
