I’m back with a new card project using a favourite combination of techniques.
Yep, the Postage Stamps Cover die and Shadow stencil from The Stamp Market combined with different pieces of ephemera.

This time, the ephemera comes from the Jump Into Fall card kit from Spellbinders that I managed to get on sale.
You get absolutely tons of ephemera in these kits. It’s almost impossible to work out just what you have when you tip out that pile of die cuts onto your desk. And you get at least two of each item.
Well, for today’s card I wanted to make a new home card with a difference, incorporating lots of cosy cottage vibes.
I started out by creating the Blush pink stencilled background on the white Postage Stamps Cover panel. I added some Antique Linen ink around the edges of the apertures and splattered Bubblegum ink over the top while the stencil was still in place.
Then I started building my little vignette scenes, all containing things I know the recipient likes…
I didn’t have any small new home type sentiments that would fit this space. But I’ve often used the “Wishing you happiness” sentiment from an old PTI set on new home cards in the past, and it fits nicely on the Skinny Strips die from Neat & Tangled.
Then I mounted the panel on a textured white cardbase from the kit, and ta-da!
