Folksy Birthday Wishes | Spellbinders Enchanted Garden

Morning all!

I’m back with some more floral inspiration, featuring another die set from Spellbinders that I picked up in a sale.

The Enchanted Garden set designed by Zsoka Marko of A Pocket Full of Happiness.

This set reminded me a lot of Polish Wycinanki, a look I love.

Card inspiration with Spellbinders Enchanted Garden dies

Stamp: Agateria – Zestaw do napisów na każda okazję 3
Dies: Reverse Confetti – Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel (r), Spellbinders – Enchanted Garden, Spellbinders – Grommet Tags (r)

I selected the following shades of cardstock to work with using the Enchanted Garden dies:

C9: Lemongrass, Grasshopper, Artichoke, Pimento, Watermelon
The Stamp Market: Powder, Cerulean, Cornflower

Once I’d assembled four sets of each flower stem in those colours, I ran an A2 panel of C9 Nectar through my die cutting machine with the Diagonal Stitches cover plate from Reverse Confetti. This provided me with the perfect alignment guide to stick the florals down.

I probably should have varied the order of the flowers a bit more between rows, but I was worried about running out of blooms.

Once that was done, I grabbed a strip of Spellbinders Chiffon cardstock to cut out with a very old label die from the Spellbinders Grommet Tags set to stamp my sentiment on. And yes, it’s a Polish sentiment from a Polish brand called Agateria – completing the theme.

And there we go, card complete.
