I’ve been chipping away at some of the die-cut heavy projects I recently prepped ahead of a crafting day with friends.
Definitely a labour of love style project, and one that’s tricky to photograph, but finished at last!

Once again, I used soooo many different coloured scraps of card from my stash that it’s too difficult to list the specific colours used. We’d be here for days!
But you get the idea.
Other details you may not immediately see include some ink blending and stamping on the background and the stack layers representing the sea so if you peer in it looks a bit more realistic.
All the layers feature dies from the Boardwalk Stacks set, but I felt that a bit of greenery was needed to break up the scene. So as it was still handy, I cut bushes and trees from the Secret Garden Stacks set to fill in some gaps.
I love how this came out, and it was absolutely worth the effort.
But I need a little rest before the next high-intensity die-cutting project, or I may go a little mad.
